My Learning Goal

Reading more and not getting frustrated at words that I don‘t know by trying to sound them out.

How am I going to achieve my goal?

How will I know when I have achieved my goal?

I will be able to give words a try without becoming frustrated at myself.

How will I know when I have achieved my goal?

When I try new things and never give up.

When I try my hardest all the time.

WALT use repeated addition to solve multiplication problems.

I have learnt how to keep adding numbers together to solve multiplication problems.

For example:
3 x 9 = 27
9 + 9 + 9 = 27

5 x 5 = 25
5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 25

My next learning goal is to learn all my times tables up to 12s. I find 7s the hardest.

WALT solve division problems using equal sharing.

I have learned how to use counters to share objects out into different sets.

What's the goal?
WALT - Create artist inspired artwork
Artist: Raewyn Harris

So What?
It was really frustrating because it took forever to get it finished. I am really proud that I got it done in time.

I learnt how to use colours that go well with each other. We learnt about complementary colours, they are opposite each other on the colour wheel.

I used youtube videos and examples of the artists work to help me design my picture.

Now What?
If I did this again I would try even harder and would try to use different patterns.

New York is Falling
I saw lots of carnage. There was cars flying through the air like rockets. There were buildings falling to the ground.
I heard screaming coming from the buildings as they bashed to the ground.
I felt terrified for the people who were losing their buildings, homes and contents.
I wondered will I make it out alive?

Multicultural Week

This week I have participated actively in a range of learning experience around ‘Multicultural week’

WHAT: I was involved in a range of learning experiences for Multicultural week. I did lots of stuff and fun activities.

SO WHAT:

I learnt to use the chopsticks .

I enjoyed everything.

I was most fascinated by everything because it was really nice to learn about different cultures.

A question I have is how many people live in China.

When we went to camp I was in the 1st bus. I was sitting with Yarek on the way there. My favourite activity was Mini Golf I enjoyed this because I got a hole in one. I was in a bunk room with lots of my friends. But someone kept me awake all night.

I have made this shape for my geometry. I made this shape by trying to make a pattern with different colour bands.

Persuasive Writing

This is my Pigeon On the Bus writing.

WALT : Persuade the reader to agree with my opinion.

in my opinion, pigeons should not drive a bus because they can't reach the ignition.

Pet Day

On pet day there was a pet parade on the field. I saw a pug, a chihuahua, a bulldog and a pig. My favourite animal was the chihuahua because it was cool and cute.
A big dog

scratched me in the eye. I went to feed the dog and I accidentally dropped the treat, I was about to pick it up when the dog scratched me in the eye.

Mr Twit

WALT: Describe Mr Twit and Mrs Twit's Attributes.

Mr Twit is annoying. He has a hairy beard full of food. He likes to play tricks on his wife Mrs Twit. Mr Twit made Mrs Twit shrink and he tried to send her to the moon with eighteen balloons tied to her.
